4467b - Outpatient Rapid Observation Center (OROC) RN
Our client is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join their patient care team. In this role, the RN will deliver safe, age-appropriate patient care and serve as an advisor and resource for patients and their families. The ideal candidate will excel in clinical decision-making, evidence-based practice, and will engage in collaborative, innovative problem-solving to support patients' health and well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Provide safe and compassionate care to patients in an acute care setting, utilizing clinical reasoning, situational learning, and evidence-based practice.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Act as an educator, addressing the intellectual and psychomotor needs of patients and families.
- Incorporate input from diverse sources to benefit patient, family, and community health.
- Apply new knowledge, research, and contemporary evidence to make informed clinical decisions.
Must Haves:
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Valid RN License in the State of Maryland or Compact License (as applicable).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care/telemetry unit.
- Hospital experience required; long-term care RN experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Location: Baltimore, Maryland
Hours: Full-Time with Weekend Commitment, 36 hours/week (Day shift slots limited; Night shift preferred, 7P-7:30A)
Salary: $66,212 to $84,427
